REAWAKENING
Back to the Future.
Old Engadin house from the 17th century in new splendor and with all modern conveniences. First, all existing old wood of the house was removed collected, cleaned and re-cut. It finds again used as a leitmotif in all rooms. The beautiful roof beams are thoroughly renovated, the cleaned wood paneling is reinstalled one-to-one after the ceilings have been raised a little. The beautiful cross vaults of the former kitchen and pantry, newly plastered, offer the perfect ambience for the new dining room. The high old stone wall to the Sulér, freshly sanded, forms the new centerpiece and eye-catcher for the large living room, the former barn. A cube with a large picture window inserted to the room to flood with light. The gallery on the retracted The decorative ceiling and the glass railings also mediate generosity and breadth. The character of this old House woke up radiant again.
